I really shouldn’t have left her yesturday. So last night I packed some clothes and this morning sorted some food and got the first bus back to Moms.
Her rash has spread and she is in a lot of pain ….she is taking the tablets, which are huge, but they are taking a while to kick in.
I can’t really do much but I can get dinner and tea and do the washing up…..at least that will stop her moving about too much,
She didn’t get much sleep last night….just too painful !

@Traceyjayne I heard that that is soooooo painful! I hope her medication works soon to give her comfort.

Yes, it’s shingles, confirmed yesturday, so she has only had a few tablets so far …..hope they start to work soon !

Well, she certainly looked after me recently, when I broke my arm…. Now it’s my turn to help her.

I feel so bad for her. I know someone who had shingles and how painful it was.
Hope she gets some sleep and the pain subsides.

Poor soul. I'm sure it's reassuring just to have someone in the house. Emotional support means a lot when someone is ill. I hope the tablets kick in soon.

I had shingles along with neuritis or neuralgia (can't remember which). I was in sad shape. I have so much sympathy for your mom.
