What do you get every time you go grocery shopping?

As you all know, and tease me about, we don't cook at home. We eat lunch out every day somewhere as a "date day" and we don't eat dinner. Every morning I drink a protein shake, was chocolate, now it's vanilla, they're called Slate, and we buy those every shopping trip because they're a staple for me. We also buy protein bars every grocery trip because that's what I survive on for snacks and "dinner." Right now it's Magic Spoon chocolate peanut butter protein bars. We don't buy "normal stuff" like eggs, bread, milk, etc. like most people do because we don't use it. We also don't eat fruit or vegetables so we don't buy produce. What do you get every time you go grocery shopping?

Milk, bread and fruits. The maid goes to the market everyday to buy fresh vegetables, meat and fish for our meal.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are bought each trip, in fact I only shop about once a month for the majority of my list, but fresh items do not last that long. I have started going out to a market and buy apples by the 20 pound bag. Since my husband and I prefer different varieties of apples, we get 2 bags and they last about 3 weeks.

Bottled water. I resent having to buy it, but coming out of our pipes the water tastes like metal. I HAVE had it tested by the city as they will do it for free, but they said nothing bad that THEY test for, is in it.

Milk is an almost always guarentee. I also drink soda as does George, so that's not an everyday thing but a most of the time thing. Anything else, we get when we get low on on it and need it. Need it or not, once a month I'll buy George his disposable underwear.

I think it’s usually bread that I’d get every time. Fruit in the summer.

Eggs and rotisserie chicken. These days, I am leaning toward a low-fat, lean meat diet.
