Do you text more or call more? Why?

I think the answer to this will vary depending on the person's age answering the question. I tend to text more now. It's quicker and the person doesn't have to be interrupted in order to talk or respond - they can reply at their convenience. I don't like long phone conversations anymore and I usually just have something really quick to say. Do you text more or call more? Why?

I text more as you said it's quicker and sometimes a phone call doesn't come at a convenient time. I do have a few friends who refuse to text and just call at random when they want to chat. Sometimes I answer and other times not.

I text more. But if the topic is quite difficult to discuss in text, I would rather call

I text more to every single person alive except my dad. He hates texting, and would much rather call. Our conversations last about a minute and a half.

I'm fourty-two, and I've been an advid texter since it became a sutable and istinable method of conversation and communication. I'm not a huge fan of phone calls, because I'm not a fan of the social preasure to keep the conversation going.

If it's just a usual conversation, I text. If the matter requires urgency, I call.

I tend to text more. I prefer sending messages. The only times I will call is if it's easier to say what I have to say over a call.

@looeyville Calling is my least favourite method of communication - real conversations can be interminable and unpredictable. So I text, but even then it’s something I rarely do. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s best if I just keep to myself. I’ve become quite pauciloquent in my advancing years.
