I remember years ago when I was working at stores and restaurants, just doing what I could to get by. A couple of times after working a short time I got tired of being treated badly I told the manager that I quit And him having the "Upper hand" so he thought told me that I couldn't do that I had to give him two weeks notice. I replied are you going to give me notice if you fired me? And he said, "Well no." And he kind of looked bewildered. I left! Now when I go to a store and purchase something the purchase price comes out from my debit card or credit card right away. But if I return it they take the "Upper hand", tell me that it will take 5-10 business days for the money to come back to my card! When we signed our lease it stated, just like the previous leases that I signed, that we had to give 60 days notice if we were going to move out. Then about 2 years later we all (residents) get an email that they have a new rule. That if you get an eviction notice you have to be out in 5 day's. They have the "Upper hand."

We keep experiencing it and it's not fair. The rules should keep both parties involved at the same level.

Aye. One rule for them and one rule for us The last Upper Hand example is amdisgrace. Things like this should never be allowed to happen and I'm surprised that it's even legal. It would be better legal here in Scorland
