My weight-bearing exercise for today

Our local amateur dramatics group has a lot of props and other bits and pieces stored in a building belonging to the local pub, but now they want their space back to keep their garden furniture. So the group have bought a storage container/ shed which arrived flat-packed this morning. The delivery driver thought he might be able to drop it into its final position using the crane, but unfortunately it wasn’t quite possible. So he put it down in the car park and we had to carry the pieces round a corner and through a narrow gap in to the final spot. It would have been relatively easy if we could have just carried them horizontally but of course they wouldn’t fit through the gap that way, so it was all a bit of a struggle, especially for the floor section which was 150 kg (330 lbs) but between four of us we managed it. After that my next job was to remove the troughs of compost and dead plants from the village flower displays. That wouldn’t have been so bad except the troughs are on top of railings so about 8 feet off the ground and all waterlogged and heavy and covered in slugs, and I only have a small stepladder, so I was glad of a bit of help with that! I felt like I’d earned my second coffee after all that. At least I didn’t have to worry about not having enough weight-bearing exercise today! I think you did earn your second coffee right enough Do you suffer for strenuous activities later on like I do?

@Fleura I'm still suffering after cutting the grass with my pushy mower 3 days ago.
