So I bought a pack of three pork loin steaks from a local supermarket …..I will call it Morrisons …. The pack cost £2.04
They were all of a decent size and were quite thick.
I cooked two of them, for myself and Mom and we had them with chips, but could quite easily have had them with potatoes and veggies with gravy.
Anyway, there was very little fat and no bone so the whole thing could be eaten.
With the price of everything going up and up , I must say that I think these are very good value .
I shall be buying more when I see them.
Have you happened across a food that is reasonably priced and good value for money ?

That's a great value. I have to eat a lot of natural foods now; and they are all expensive.

I will definitely be getting these again ….13 minutes in the air fryer too.

Chicken is the cheapest meat available right now but, with another season of bird flu going around the US, eggs aren't cheap anymore and neither is chicken itself.
I did find a very nice pork loin for under $10 the other day. (I still haven't felt like cooking it yet. I've had a migraine the last few days.)
We'll watch and see if we can get anything else relatively cheaper when we go shopping again.

@Traceyjayne Turkey is my favorite meat but I like pork, chicken and beef, too.

Pork is reasonably priced here. We are always on the lookout for food that has been marked down or is on special.

That sounds like a great deal, and it’s always nice to find good quality food that’s still affordable!
