Mom is worried about her cousin !

So I just got home after spending most of the week with Mom as she is poorly this week ( I had to check the mail, put the washing on , sort the veggies and fridge , and let The Mister know what was happening ). I will be back round there tomorrow or Sunday.
Anyway, her cousin usually rings her most days….not Wednesday , but most other days and this week she hasn’t heard from her since Monday. Understandably Mom is now worried. She tried to phone this afternoon after I left and it went straight to answerphone.
I said if she doesn’t hear from her by the morning I will try and get in touch with her daughter.
It’s such a worry isn’t it when people you usually hear from every day suddenly go AWOL.

I hope she's ok and there's a reasonable explanation for her not calling or getting in touch.

Her cousin has visitors on a Wednesday so she doesn’t call then, but although she misses the odd say , she does usually ring every day. Obviously this week with Mom being poorly she has not been feeling well enough to ring her cousin. We will find out by tomorrow what has happened. Mom says if anything bad or serious happened her daughter might let my Mom know.

@Traceyjayne I tend to agree that you would hear if something was wrong. Hope your mom and her cousin can get to talk this weekend. Hope your mom feels better too. Shingles is horribly painful. I'm glad that you are helping her

Mom left a message so I’m sure if they are at home or when they get home they will hear it and ring ….if not I will ring the daughter tomorrow.
