Steven Maa was in Summit County Colorado on December 28 when he took his 10 year old Rocky to a pet sitter while Steven was going on a ski trip when Rocky ran away from the pet sitter.
Steven managed to ask for help from Summit Lost Pet Rescue who sent volunteers to search for Rocky when the volunteers used food as a way to attract Rocky which was successful to trap Rocky when a homeowner's ring camera found Rocky which led to the dog being captured.
Steve got the call from Summit Lost Pet Rescue volunteers that his dog was found safe and sound even though Rocky lost 50 pounds during the time he went missing.
Steve is grateful that the volunteers found his dog and they reunited recently.

I am sure that the kid who reported seeing Rocky is happy that the dog and his owner are reunited at last.

A 10 year old dog losing 50 pounds is very concerning. I'm so glad he was found.

I was concerned about the age of the dog as well. I am also happy that the dog is back with his owner.
