While I was outside doing my steps, I veered briefly into a small wooded area. I have seen a couple of cool things in there. Today I found a small piece of quartz that had small flakes in it that were really glistening and sparkling in the sun. I liked it a lot..so I took it home with me. Usually, I leave things I see int he woods alone, but sometimes something like that really impressed me. Do you like things you see outside as well? Do you ever take them home? Sometimes I bring Nico feathers from large water birds that have lost them. He does enjoy feathers.

If I see something in a shop or store, I buy it and bring it home. Does that count? I have found beautiful old bottles in the woods at my other house. I like to put a tall flower in it.

Sure .I would think in Fla. You might collect some shells In my storage locker I really should try to visit before it gets hot..I have probably 50 shells from various beach trips. Maybe if I can find them I will put them in my rock garden outside.

It's not a habit but I have done it. Nico loves the feathers.Sometimes I find rocks and put them in my rock garden.

Wish I could venture into the woods or there's woods nearby I could visit. The city l live in has an esplanade by the river we could take a walk and enjoy nature. I only took photos.

I will bring something home if it's special to me. Some gumnuts almost beg to be picked up.

I looked at the pics. We have really nothing that looks like those. I like pine cones.

When I walked at the beach, a lake or at the river bank and saw beautiful stone, I brought it home.

Some really are nice. When it is Sunny in the kitchen, it should get plenty of time to sparkle.

Yes, but for me it is the back yard. There is always something new to see back there.

If it will not be noticed as gone, and it is on public property and it screams my name, I will pick it up and bring it home. I haven't done that in many many years.

Sometimes I took home things found in the woods. I used to bring feathers to Bubi and Gevi.

I don't get outside much anymore. I'm glad you found a spot for your rock.
