Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 38 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 52. That's not terrible for today's St. Patrick's Day parade. It is drizzling now but should stop by the time everyone heads over the bridge. I actually had a good night of sleep for once. I think it was because I was just so exhausted. In any case I'm up now and getting ready for the day. I'm hoping my ex wakes up early so we can hit the diner for breakfast before we head out. I'm starving. And I won't even order eggs. I want a tuna melt. In any case we are headed out at 8:30am. It is going to be a long day. I know I will sleep well tonight! What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning. It is 57F in my part of Missouri this morning and storming. (It seemed to storm most of the night.) We have flash flood warnings listed for our area until 7 am this morning. I kept the curtains open on my bedroom windows so I could watch the lightning and rain coming down. Our high today is also predicted to be 52F. (I guess it will still get chillier this morning for them to post it like that.) I hope you and your ex have a good trip and a good breakfast this morning. I'd like to go in and shower since the humidity is 100% but Pretty isn't awake yet. (I leave the bathroom door open now when I shower just in case I fall and need help.)

You are out of the hospital by the sounds of things. Hurray for you! Funny that you mentioned a tuna melt, I had a hankering for one a few days ago and made myself one on a small naan. It was yummy and I hope that you get yours.

A tuna melt? That seems so wrong for a culinary queen. I’ve never tried one so I shouldn’t tease. Diner food is so good to me. Darn it, now I want some. Have a safe trip!

It was a slight monsoon storm when I woke up so i rolled over and went back to sleep. I had lunch (which was breakfast food), and I’m soaking my back in the tub.

Does St Pat know he's to be fetted ten days early? And what about St Brigit? Will she be sweeping her broom early, too? Today, it's already 14°C at 8:30 am, supposed to get a couple degrees warmer still. But it might rain. Who knows these days? Today may be long, but tomorrow will start an hour earlier... we spring forward tonight.
