Police officer in Florida given an award by city officials in Oviedo for saving a life

Oviedo Police Department officer Matthew Brongel was given a Life Saving Award on Monday March 2 at a city council meeting in Oviedo Florida. Officer Brongel answered an emergency call from relatives of a 15 month old child who was in critical condition in his home where the child was near death after a near drowning incident. Officer Brongel used his first aid skills in an attempt to revive the child when the Oviedo Fire Department firefighters managed to use their medical training to revive the child and take the child to a local hospital where the child made a full recovery. Oviedo Police Chief Dale Coleman presented Officer Brongel with the award and praised him for doing his duty to save the life of a child. Link is wftv.com/news/local/ovi...
