Interesting ICE Data

I have been doing some research on ICE. I found a Washington, D.C. think tank, Cato Institute, that was founded in 1977 and is a non-profit public policy research organization. It conducts research, publishes reports and advocates for policies such as reduced government spending and deregulation. With their help I find that only 5% of ICE detainees had violent convictions, 3% were immigration issues, but 73% had no convictions at all. The remaining were traffic, vice, property and termed 'other'.

Why would ICE detain or go after people with no convictions

I knew most were not criminals that they have detained. They have even stopped them when the people were going to get their visas updated. Then claimed they were illegally here

So did I. Yes, there is a story of an older man who just wanted to update his green card too. They are so mean to them all.
