Tending the fire ….its The Misters job …..

So, we went to our local pub tonight ….as we do on a Saturday night ….the band was good, we didn’t think that we had seen them before. As usual The Mister took his bag of freshly cut wood. His job is to tend the fire. He is well known for it. It is, to be fair, something that he does very well. I would go so far as to say it is a bit of a talent of his ….. Do you have a talent ?

It is a talent to build a good fire. I am a Jack of all trades…. I can do a bit of everything, but my true talents are cooking and inventing recipes for which I won an award.

@Traceyjayne Paul Newman, when he was alive, asked for recipes using his salad dressing. I used it for my green bean recipe. It doesn’t call for any dressing, but I added a tablespoon. They had to create my recipe and run it through their taste test. I won third place and they sent me a huge and beautiful pepper mill.

I'm pretty good at needlepoint and embroidery. I've had to give it up due to arthritis in my hands. And I was a pretty good cook.

I love knitting too …but I haven’t enough grip in my hand at the moment to hold the knitting needles ….i do miss it.
