How do you feel about AI?

Personally, I am kind of excited about the possibilities..the idea of having a personal robot seems really good. AI has come a long way just in the relatively short time it's been around. It is amazing that there are so many forms, Chat GPT, Dall E, Claude, Grok and others..all of which have their own unique capabilties and areas of expertise.
The only downside of it I can see if people becoming overly reliant on it, and it making serious mistakes, or causing job loss. The idea robots are going to "take over" some day I suppose is a possibility, but will it really happen outside of sci Fi movies, who knows? Do you love or fear AI?

@DianneN So versatile...one day I made a picture of a wolf baying at the moon, that looks like it was created on felt. It is really interesting.

@snowy22315 And I am sure people will figure out more ways to abuse it.

As long as it is used responsibly, I find it alright.
And I sincerely hope that the young generation of school-aged children doesn't forget to think for themselves, as so many lost their 'need' to do simple math as they relied on their calculators.
We use AI in the banking world, and chat GPT will actually replace the need to interact with a person in another department. I would personally welcome an AI layoff within the next year. I have lots paid into unemployment, and it would be an easy segway into retirement.

I don't like the fact that you don't know if a photo is real or fabricated.

I quite like AI
It's opened my eyes to quite a few things to be honest.
Robots have already started taking human jobs, there was a program on the telly about robots and Ai taking over from humans
Amazon use thousands of robots instead of humans
I like the more creative photography bits of AI for fun
And i use AI on my browser a lot for getting answers to questions

My son works for Amazon which extensively uses AI.AI. It is in charge of a number things..such as employee time keeping and payroll etc. Certainly other functions.
. There are human supervisors on the floor though.

I don't like it as it isn't being used responsibly

Some are being used responsibly and some aren't.

I found a free tool that paraphrases paragraphs if I am looking for another way to say something and that is very helpful. It's called Scribber
