Here getting an oil change and a pre inspection at the local garage..The mechanic if I could have talked to him would have done a pre inspection for free..but the owner piped up and said it was 45.00..
. I needed to have it done, so I could budget whatever I will need for it. Then they tell me they are no longer doing inspections .Now, I don't know where to take it..as a lot of the garages here are too strict, and charge more than they need to. I do know one that doesn't charge a lot, but they take a long time to do it. I swore I wouldn't go there any more, but it might be the best bet.

I always hate when inspection time rolls around. Not even so much for the money (which is expensive enough) but the time to just have it done. Hope you can find somewhere that will get it done for you that doesn't break the bank and not too much of your time.

Yes, there is always some fly in the ointment. At least it doesn't need brakes and tires which I had feared.

There is no choice..I must. There is another guy out here that would be a good choice..but he said he didn't get his inspection paperwork in on time, and has to get it straightened out. He was expecting a call on it tonight so hopefully that will work out..sigh! I hate inspections

I don't think it is going to need as much as I thought that it could. They didn't do an official pre inspection but they told me a lot of what it probably needed or didn't need.
