I Had Possibly The Best Doctor Appointment of My Life Today

This is complicated to explain. I saw a new psychiatrist today. He was an MD (Medical Doctor) ((most psychiatrists are Ph.D.'s = non-medical doctors). He spent an entire hour with me and came up with some brilliant ideas to treat things I'm going through that I didn't know were related to other medical things. For example, he said a lot of what I went through a few years ago getting lost and not knowing how to operate a washing machine, etc. might have been "brain fog" from menopause and we're going to talk about a hormone patch. He also explained how much my Sleep Apnea was contributing to how much I sleep (excessively) and not so much my depression, so he prescribed me a Sleep Apnea medication to make me more "awake" and not sleep so many hours. I didn't even know there was such a medication. He's going to treat the easiest/simplest things first, then work up to the more complicated things. I really liked him. He put 2+2 together instead of just focusing on one thing.
