Reading @Ineeddentures recent discussion about being homeless, I realized that I have lived a very boring life.
I have been sheltered from the day I was born. Been well provided by my wants and needs. Not a single day did I worry about where to live, what to wear, what to eat.
My life has generally been pretty boring compared to Jim.
But I am grateful though for whatever life my parents have given me and the blessings I have received.

I have had tons of hobby. It's not that I don't have anything interesting. I have had. But compared to what Jim went through, mine is nothing.

There are many who thought they were in a good position but it only needs something to go wrong and suddenly you're really battling. I knew a guy who suddenly had to care for a sick son after an operation. Had to give up work, couldn't pay the mortgage and in the end, he and his son were living in their car. It didn't happen all at once of course but that's the sort of thing that can happen.
It's good you're grateful but you've also worked hard for what you're got.

There are times I wish my life had been a bit boring
I left home at 16 so life has never been boring..
But mostly it's been fun
Especially the last 28 years with Yvonne
Never been boring with Yvonne either
