A normal count is between 150-400. It was bouncing around between 34--51. Last Tuesday when I was having the endoscopy they were 32. (below 30 can be lethal) So I received a platelet transfusion before the procedure. The next day they were 51. Still not great but improved.
I had more bloodwork on Monday. The NP reviewed the results with me yesterday and on Monday they were at. . . 115!
I can only assume that they are higher today which is 3 days later.
That's a relief. Now maybe I will stop getting spontaneous bruises all over the place. I look like a battered wife. Between the random bruises and the ones from the IVs and blood draws it isn't a pretty sight.

Those numbers have certainly improved. That's good news.

That's great! What caused them to drop so low in the first place?
