Mother’s Day lunch is planned……

So, this Sunday, here in the UK, it is Mothers Day. As my Mom is still suffering with shingles she doesn’t want to go out for a meal ….so we have asked her to come to us. So far ….and this might be subject to change …..but I will do prawn cocktail for starters , very 70’s , but a favourite of my Moms. Main will be steak, mushrooms, small roasted potatoes, onion rings….cooked by The Mister . Pudding will be my own brioche bread and butter pudding ….with added secret ingredient , which may or may not be alcoholic based. I have Brie and crackers to complete the meal …. Then coffee …. What do you think of the menu ?

Thank you ….it’s no trouble really …she is well worth it. I do make my own seafood sauce ….i like to make things from scratch and not use shop bought.
