Home Maintenance is a Never-Ending Job

We had the HVAC company come out today to service our air conditioner to prepare it for the season. Then we learned that they have a "Home Plan" for $10/month they will come out 4 times a year and clean a/c or furnace plus inspect your whole electrical and plumbing systems in your house. That's a BARGAIN at $120/yr. So we signed up for it. What home maintenance items have you had to do lately?

I’m hoping to have the ceiling leak fixed soon as well as the toilet handle.

That is really good as long as they don't try to sell you something you don't need. I am gonna have the HVAC people come out in a month or two though and do a service call. I am sure I will need freon at a minimum.

A month ago, when I moved in with my sister, I brought my ac with me and had it cleaned before installing it. I was told that I should have it cleaned again after 6 months.

Yes, I know. That's the reason I really don't want to own my own home again. I'd rather let the home owner pay all those fees and let me pay rent each month.

That's a really good deal. Vince did whatever it needed to the roller garage doors. That's about the last maintenance we did.
