Thanks to the actions of an eyewitness who was rowing his boat in Lake Overholser near Oklahoma City Oklahoma called 911 to inform the authorities of a pickup truck that fell into the lake on Thursday around 11 am.
Oklahoma City Fire Department (OKCFD) firefighters came to the area where they were able to speak to the truck driver who was awake inside of his pickup truck when the firefighters used a life vest on the truck driver when a firefighter swam the truck driver to safety.
The truck driver was taken by an ambulance to a local hospital where his condition was not released to the public.
Thank goodness for the alert eyewitness who contacted the authorities as well as the firefighters who rescued the truck driver.

Driving and maneuvering those big trucks is rather scary. Yes, thank goodness for the alert eyewitness.
