Why I watch what I watch...

I love watching tv shows and movies on streaming platforms. There are tons to choose from so what makes me watch what I watch?
1. When it's a favorite actor, I wouldn't miss it. Top of my list: Jennifer Garner and Reese Witherspoon.
2. Producer/writer/filmmaker. When it's Shonda Rhimes, I'm always impressed by the stories. Taylor Sheridan and Quentin Tarantino, I love those guys!
3. Storyline. The most important regardless who the lead actor is!
So what makes you watch what you watch if you're watching any?

Typically I look for the type of show, action or drama or romance, as opposed to my favorite actor/actresses or producer.
I love a good storyline and that lends me to look for shows with a good storyline, typically a drama, but the time period of the show dictates my fascination with it also.

A good storyline is just prefect.
I don't choose depending on genres coz I could enjoy any if my fave actors there, or it's from my fave writer producer. I haven't watched something from my fave actors, producers that I didn't like.

That's great.
I don't look for genres when watching something. But anything that would catch my attention and get me hooked I watched it.
But the priorities are those on my list.

Yeah, the actor is a big factor. For some reason I'm not really into sitcoms and our local tv shows. I don't know why.

I love Tom Hanks as well. I could never forget his movie Splash with Daryl Hannah as the mermaid. I saw that movie on betamax with my dad in the early 80s. I was 4 or 5 years old maybe.

I look for short 40-50 minute episodes and lots of action and surprises.

40-50 is considered long for a tv show in our local channels. As the local tv shows normally lasts only 25 minutes but it's daily expect on weekends.

I mainly look for the genre of movie -- comedy, historical fiction, true crime, true story, etc.
I also will watch movies with my favorite actors.
