thanks Judy in India the trucks reach rice, wheat, vegetables, fishes, lentils and other essential commodities to distances beyond 2000 kilometers

I always hated driving in the mountains in the US. Sometimes you get to the top of a large hill/mountain and have to take a sharp turn or the road dives deeply before leveling off at the base of the mountain. It feels like you can't slow down.

@sathviksouvik I don't like driving beside the semi-trucks. They don't always stay in their own lanes on curves.

thanks DE in India also the mountain roads are indulating. But in the plains yes the highways are smooth. They are the main source of food transport in the country

thanks Amber there are tolls in the highways. Even after construction cost is recovered the tolls ensure maintenance cost are there
