Trump insulted allies last week and now is begging them for help

Typical Trump. He overstated what the US had accomplished in Iran and said he didn't need places like the UK to offer to help after we had already won the war. Then Iran shut down the Straight of Hormuz which is where 20% of the world's oil passes on its way to the East. The US has no mine-clearing ships in the area so now Trump is saying that he hopes international allies like France, the UK, Japan, South Korea, and China will help to escort oil tankers through that dangerous stretch. He is so incompetent--shoot first, think later. So far most of the countries have declined though South Korea said it would consider it. Italy's PM has already pre-emptively said that her country will not get involved. Great job Trump!
