The Sudden Storm Sent Us Flying

Our foster home community was gathered for the Sunday evening prayer, when the storm began. I ran to my house to fasten the windows and doors to stop them banging and to save the glass panes from breaking.
It was a short storm. It was over in ten minutes but it gave us awful lot of extra work. The whole campus was covered with leaves fallen from the trees.
In the morning , I collected about 5kg of drumsticks ( moringa stick). Soon after the morning exercise, we began sweeping the campus. In the school campus I saw seven women sweeping the leaves and dried mango flowers which were littered all around.
During the games time ( 4 to 5:30) we cleaned the playground. The gathered leaves made a little mountain.
The storm didn't do any damage but a damaging one may visit us any day from March to May. The dreaded " Kaal Baishakhi" hits our region this time of the year.
Meanwhile, I am grateful that plants and trees are now wearing a fresh and green look!

Thank goodness you did make it safely after the storm passed.

I'm glad it's warmer there and hope you have a good summer.
We're still in spring with some snow and a lot of wind, too.

@franxav Thank you. I'm in the central part of the continental US. The West Coast is already warming up but the warmer weather hasn't reached us yet.

"Kaal Baishakhi"
I hope if it does hit it doesn't cause too much damage and that you stay safe
