Well, I joined because a friend recommended it to me. She is no longer active here, yet I stayed. I told several people about it, but although they enjoyed hearing about it, I knew they wouldn’t join. Honestly, that is kind of a relief. I like that I can talk out my problems here with people I know not judging me. While I want the site to grow, I appreciate the privacy it gives me from the outside world I’m involved with.

@Fleura Thank you. But they who I tried to introduce to mylot don't want to join the site. They don't want to share their thoughts, experiences and stories with us.
Let them do what they wish to.

Thank you. I agree. Mylot is serious about our privacy. We enjoy interacting here with each other although we are thousands of miles apart. The other good thing with this site is that it even allows those whose knowledge of English is not perfect.
I told all this to those I tried to introduce to mylot None of them joined.
No problem, if they don't want to share their feelings, experiences, stories etc with us, let them do what they want to.

I have talked about it to few and asked them to check the site and join it if they like it. No one so far has joined it though few have checked it out. I just presented the site as something better than social media.

Thank you. My experience was almost the same.
Actually people want instant money. They don't want to think and write (type);for months to reach the payout.
Instead, some of them even ridiculed me.bThey said I am wasting my time. None of them joined.3 people like this

@arunima25 I fully agree Yes, those were the people who spend hours scrolling their phones. They do nothing except that Some of them make reels. They don't want to spend a small fraction of this time to interact on mylot.
I have no objection. Let them do what they are interested in.

@Shivram59 Well, if earning money is the motto then myLot or any other forum is not the right place to join. I find it better than mindless scrolling through reels and shorts. PTP forums and myLot give me productive engagement in my free time. I get to learn and share and meet like minded people from across the globe. The little pennies are just the motivation to keep visiting here.

None of my friends are interested in mylot at all. I did mention it but not to invite them but only to tell them how much fun I was having here. That was many years ago.
Recently, a person on Threads asked what one does on their spare time and I answered mylot. Someone saw it and is now here in mylot. Glad she joined.

Indeed nobody is interested to join mylot. They think it is wastage of time. It is another matter they spend the same time scrolling their phones or gossiping with their phones.
No issues Let them do what they like.

I brought a lot of friends with me when I moved to myLot from Bubblews. A few of them are still here but most of them left the site for one reason or another.
I've invited a few others who have joined but didn't stick around. *shrug* They weren't here long enough to make friends with the people who were already here so had no good reason to stay.

Thank you. I didn't show to anybody either. I just tried to introduce them to mylot so that they can spend a quality time.
If they don't want to join, let them spend hours scrolling their phones. I have no problem.

Yes in the pub one night I asked a few people to join my lot.
Oh how they laughed when I showed them the earnings.
None of them were interested.
