The Mister was expecting a delivery ! Hurry home !

So The Mister works away Monday to Friday and I am not very often in, so usually when we order anything we send it to my Moms , she doesn’t go out very often and we are there a couple of times a week anyway so it’s easy enough to pick up a parcel. However, for some strange reason, known only to that particular member of mankind, when The Mister made an order last week, he put our address down instead of Moms ! I was out this morning ….The Mister sent a message at 12.30 “ what time will you be home ?” I messaged back saying around 3pm He rang me “ I forgot to say last night, but my parcel is being delivered today between 12 and 3 “ There was nothing I could do, I had shopping in my trolley and was two bus journeys from home ! Instead of doing more errands in our local town I just came straight home. 10 minutes later the postman came, with said parcel …….. AND PUSHED IT THROUGH THE LETTERBOX !!! It didn’t matter if I was at home or not …l Meanwhile I had Chicken Pakora in the air fryer for lunch and I’d missed the bus into town anyway. Oh well, The Mister has his parcel, and my errands will wait til tomorrow. What are you up to today?
