Okay so he showed up. He's been at the past 3 when military casualties from the current war with Iran. I guess that's better than during his first term when he refused to attend them after the first and only transfer he was at. Today's dignified transfer was problematic though. He wasn't wearing one of his stupid baseball caps after getting totally roasted when he did at the last one. Since the Obama administration it has been up to the family/families if they want the dignified transfer to be public or private. The families chose for today's ceremony to be private. I was surprised to see live video of Trump getting off of Air Force One. Then he was still on camera as he approached the back of the military plane. I figured at that point the cameras would stop. I had to go to the pharmacy at that point so I didn't see what happened next. Sure enough the White House released over a dozen pictures (of course with Trump in the frame) on its social media accounts including even TikTok and Flickr. I have had the news on for the past few hours and I haven't seen any mention of it being shown live on TV. Still it was incredibly disrespectful to disregard the wishes of the families. You just know he is going to turn at least one of those images into some kind of fundraising grift.
