Another Duggar son has been arrested for unlawful sexual activity with a minor

Joseph Duggar has been arrested for sexual abuse. It occurred in 2020 when the victim was just 9 years old. Initially he repeatedly asked the victim to sit on his lap. Eventually he asked her to sit on the couch next to him. He covered their legs with a blanket and began rubbing her thighs. He then manipulated her underwear and grazed his hand across her genitals. He was confronted by the girls father and a detective on Tuesday. Yesterday he was arrested for "lewd and lascivious behavior--Molestation of a Victim Less Than 12-years-old and also lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older." The victim is now 14 years old. Joseph's older brother Josh has been convicted of sexual abuse of minors and is currently in jail. Joseph said on a Duggar spinoff show that he was shocked by Josh's behavior and it broke his heart. Obviously the Duggars (of 19 Kids and Counting) live a very strange life. A couple of the older girls have broken free from the twisted thinking but clearly it has had an impact on at least 2 of the sons. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually others wind up being arrested for similar behavior.
