Busy Afternoon but the sun finally made an appearance

Good Evening myLotters! the day just got busy and this afternoon I had a marathon phone call with one of my closest friends. Her husband has been going through some serious health issues for awhile now so her time is limited to chat. Today he was having some sort of procedure done and she needed to vent while she waited. She's the closest I have to a sister. We've been friends for too many years to count, our kids went to school together, we've vacationed together and our kids were even in each others weddings. As the years have passed we've both moved to be closer to our kids and grandkids but no long within visiting distance of each other. I do miss her and hopefully one of these days our plans for a get-together will happen. Cell phones can be a nuisance but on a day like today it was nice that she was able to spend the time with me (via phone) and it was "almost" like a real visit. I added her husband (and her) to my prayer list and hope he has a speedy recovery. I just made myself a cup of decaf coffee and decided to pop on here and say hi. I just never got around to doing a morning post. Hope everyone had a good day
