I was planning our supper for Saturday …..something quick and easy as we are likely to be out during the day and out at the pub watching a band on the evening. I have decided on Spaghetti Carbonara. The Mister is quite picky about what he will and won’t eat, so there are lots of meals that I would like to cook that I can’t. Anyway enough about that …. I have got a packet mix for the sauce and I bought the bacon and mushrooms today. I have pasta and milk at home. Just got to decide now ……maybe you could help me …..should I do garlic bread too ? What do you think ? Come along if you like, and share …..i always make loads ….

I'd say go for garlic bread. My son loves his carbonara with garlic bread. And I do too.

We do too …..it just that we will be going out later and I don’t like going out stinking of garlic ! Should I just say ‘what the heck ‘ and do it anyway !

I love garlic bread. Home-made is best. The bought ones are sometimes a bit skint on the butter.

Definitely garlic bread. My hubby was picky too. He always wanted the same old things.
