Oh dear ….it never rains but ……
So on a Friday The Mister only works a few hours then travels home.
This morning he rang to say they would be delayed as his work partner had got a puncture and they were waiting for someone to come and help.
You may remember that a few weeks ago The Mister had an accident when he was pushed off the road damaging two of his wheels.
He has used his spare and is now still awaiting a phone call to say the new ones are ready to be collected.
So, now both he and his partner have no spares !
He rang five minutes ago to say he wasn’t feeling well and has had to pull over to the side of the road.
This is not like him at all.
It’s not Friday 13th is it !

I hope he just needs to throw up and then he can drive on home. I usually feel better for a while after I throw up and can get other stuff done before I start feeling bad again.
I keep reminding Pretty that the car needs a new spare but she's ignoring me/it. She doesn't like to spend money and has told me that I waste money when I'm paying for things we need before we need them. She has never been stranded somewhere because the car needs something...
I don't like things to get to the point where I have to depend on someone to rescue me when I'm a long way from home. We used to have AAA roadside service but, when I stopped working, she said AAA wasn't something we actually needed. You wouldn't believe how many times I've depended on AAA to jumpstart the car, fix a tire on the side of the road or tow me miles to the next service station.

@Traceyjayne I'm glad he's home safely and sleeping. Don't worry, when he wakes up, I'm sure he'll eat everything in the house.
And that sucks! I hated it when I had no say in what was or wasn't repaired when I was running a forklift at night. If the headlights went out. I still had to do my job outside in the dark. If the brakes failed, they'd tell me to drive carefully.

He got back a short time ago . He wasn’t actually sick but still doesn’t feel right. He has had a sleep since getting home …..not really feeling hungry…..again, not like him !
As it’s a works van he has no say on what or when things happen as far as repairs are concerned..

We both are , believe me !
It’s a case of what can go wrong ….will go wrong .
It’s like living in a situation comedy off the television sometimes !
