Wheee! Another pair of coasters started.

I contacted Martin Guitars a couple of weeks ago. I asked them to send me some sound hole cut outs. They did so. So this morning I am staining up a pair of cutouts. They will wind up as coasters, and I will either sell them for $25.00/pair, or give them to musician friends here in the Bay Area. Do you have any "arts and crafts" projects going on right now? .

I'm making some candles but they don't take anywhere close to the amount of work you put in for the coasters. I just need to pour wax "tablets" into a jar after putting a wick in it and I'm done. If I wanted, of course, I could melt the wax tablets and pour the liquid wax into the jars and then insert a wick into the candle. I'll also add some scent with the wax. That will make them smell nice while they burn. I could also add colored wax but what I'm making will just be plain white.
