Seems I was charged a fee

I remember the tax accountant telling me I owe $150 after she finished doing my taxes.
I just logged into my credit card account online and I noticed that I was charged $155 instead of $150.
There is no way I misheard her so they probably charge a fee for paying with a credit card.
If that is the case, she should’ve told me about that before she took my card.
I don’t know how else I could’ve paid to avoid paying the extra $5.
I don’t have a checkbook and I doubt they take cash...
Still, she should’ve let me know.

You probably did hear properly
You could ask for an explanation what the extra 5 dollars was for?
I don't think I would bother

It can only be a credit card fee.

Yes
I'm sure it is
But wouldn't a fee be one they would tell you about

At least it wasn't more than $5

Yes. That’s a relief. But I should’ve gotten a heads up about it.

I did the math and it’s somewhere in the 3% range. I’m definitely glad it wasn’t more than five bucks.

I remember one time he zelled them the money as opposed to paying with a card because they said there will be a fee.
