It was a disaster, this evening’s meal at the Wet Knicker restaurant. An expensive disaster and I’m left feeling not good. The chicken and ham were tasteless and slimy, the gravy insipid. Not even a bit of carrot or something else colourful to relieve the beige monotony on the plate. When we returned to our cottage (which is without fault) our daughter got into her pyjamas and lay on her back on the sofa. She said “I don’t feel well” then puked the full length of herself without even trying to sit up. It was quite a job getting everything cleaned and it was all through her hair. Once everything was in order she did it again, the wee pet. I never want to eat again. Ever.
