Stock Up Saturday

This morning my husband and I are getting ready to go out shopping together.
I placed a phone order with our butcher for some organic boneless chicken breasts.
They have the nicest meat there. The pieces are so large that I can actually get 3 portions from each chicken breast.
Normally I would just drive out there myself, but they put in a round about that we have to take, and it is a complicated one with alot of intersections on and off of it. I have never driven it and I find that one very busy and confusing, so he's driving us, and he was fine with that.
I will be busy for about an hour cutting up all of the chicken into proper sizes for us, and then bagging them up and putting them on a cookie sheet so that they freeze plat and not all bunched up.
What are your plans for this fine Saturday?

I do not like roundabouts, and I am thankful I rarely come upon them. I hope you enjoy spending the day with your husband.
The only thing I have to do today is a trip to the pharmacy. It’s possible I may go to my dad’s to pick something up, and they just got back from Iowa so it would be nice to see them. Then again, he’s always on the go, and might not be home.

I hate round abouts. I don't think they are any safer

They are safer in high traffic areas, nobody is running a red light or not waiting their turn at a 4-way stop.
And drivers like me, well, we just should not ever drive the complicated ones, I avoid 3 of them because they are too hard and I would literally cause an accident.

This one is really about 1/4 in the city and the rest is in the country.
The speed limit is a bit high for all of the turns and curves and there is a bit of an optical illusion as the road takes is on an incline entering the roundabout but takes a curve right after that.
But, Ron is a skillful driver and really our only 'danger' was that I had to watch for deer as it was quite early and they were out in the fields. We did spot 2 large ones not far from the road. Nobody wants to collide with such a large animal.

Like @AmbiePam said, I don't know how to navigate roundabouts. I'm used to Stop Signs and Traffic Lights.
Not sure yet what I'm going to do this Saturday. Still dark outside.

You must not have many roundabouts in your region.
Just in our city alone there are countless ones.
They find them safer than a 4-way stop because people run them and drive when it is not their turn, and as far as lights are concerned, there are far too many high speed accidents where people run the reds.
