There is a squirrel who hangs out on the street all the time. It is probably because it is in the sun and warmer than the surrounding areas. I am surprised it is still alive honestly because I have come close to hitting it a few times. I usually give it a blast on the horn to hopefully scare it off the street. The other day..I saw a truck that was delayed because of its antics. I am hoping that as the weather heats up the street will become a less attractive place to hang out..if he makes that long .sigh!

Maybe.toi could put some nuts on your garden and it could spend it's days there .how cool would that be?

They hang around enough. I have one that comes up on the porch everyday. He would love to be invited in.

One squirrel here who was kind of a pet met his maker on the road. It has since been replaced by another though .

@snowy22315 my Mom used to have a squirrel that came to the garden every day ….at first it would sit on the fence and look into the kitchen until Mom took food out for her. Then as she got braver she would come and sit on the kitchen door step and wait for food. Mom called her Charlie.

I don't think anybody would hit it on purpose..but they are always neurotically zig zagging around when a car approaches.
