The Mister slept soundly all night. This morning he was only a little better , so i did persuade him to go to the Pharmacist ….the one who looked after my Mom a few weeks ago ….i was surprised when he agreed to go ( so that tells me he was really feeling ill ). Anyway, the Pharmacist prescribed a tonic, thinking he may be run down, possibly coming down with flu . We got home, he took a dose of the tonic and I heated some Chicken soup…..he didn’t quite finish it all but most of it. Now he is asleep again on the settee. Thank you , everyone, for your concern last night and suggestions that he needed to be checked over. It means a lot.

I'm so glad he went to see someone. We were really worried about him and you. I'm glad he felt hungry and ate his soup.

I was worried as he is not usually ill. He was a funny colour too….. It’s not like him to go to bed early at all and he slept right through til 10 this morning…. Thank you for caring about us …..you are a good friend x

@Traceyjayne You're very welcome. What are you doing this afternoon other than worrying about your hubby?

@DaddyEvil at the moment just sitting next to him on the settee posting ….. he is asleep. I have some of my walk to do but that will have to wait, I don’t want to be away from the house when he wakes up. I won’t put the tv on in case it wakes him up. I will get the food ready for tonight’s tea ….i only have to chop the bacon and slice the mushrooms do it won’t take long. Oh and make some garlic butter. Apart from that I don’t know ….we were going to get more plants for the garden but that will wait too. What are you doing today ?

I think you should take him to a real doctor. If it is his heart you may be wasting time. I would at least get it ruled out. I am surprised the pharmacist did not recommend that honestly It is much better to be safe than sorry. So many people have thought they had stomach issues even told that by a doctor and went on to have massive coronaries. I don't want to worry you, but I would take it a bit more seriously. He seems to be showing some classic symptoms..even if he improves could recur with a vengeance..doesn't sound good.

That all sounds positive but he needs to improve some more or else see a doctor.
