I think it’s wine o’clock …..

Well, it’s been a tough few weeks ….firstly my Mom got Shingles ….she has been in so much pain and it’s been heartbreaking to see her suffer. Now, The Mister is ill. He has been aching, had a headache, feeling sick, no energy, tired……he has spent most of the day sleeping, He has had two doses of the mixture that the Pharmacist prescribed for him. He has gone to bed early. So, dear MyLotters, I really think that it’s wine o’clock.. I’m off to open a bottle of red …….. How are you spending your evening ?

I hope Mom is feeling better as well as your hubby when he wakes up. And yes, something calming might be nice about now. I'm eating late lunch at the moment. I cut up a bowl of strawberries each for Pretty and I and now I'm having a quick microwave meal of Bagel Bites. (Mini bagels with pizza sauce and diced pepperoni on them. They aren't bad.)

Those bagels sound lovely….. We were going to get strawberries last week but they are out of season here at the moment so they come from abroad …we like British ones the best.

@Traceyjayne Strawberries are out-of-season here, too. I think these came from Chile or Peru. They taste fine, especially since we haven't had any since last year. This is the first time I've tried the Bagel Bites. They're okay since all I had to do is pop them in the microwave for a couple of minutes.
