Got a good deal

Onions here are quite expensive, so I don’t buy them often or only buy a few pieces. Good thing, the lady guard who guards the apartment texted me if I wanted to buy a kilo of onions, which cost around $1.80. It’s much cheaper than what I can buy at the wet market or grocery store. It was delivered today, and it seems like it’s quite over a kilo. Hehe. It’s good to be practical these days, especially since basic necessities are expected to become more expensive in the coming days. Have you come across any good deals recently?

That's a really good deal. You can always slice onions and freeze them if you think they'll go off before you can use them.

We love onions. I try to always have some, as they can make a plain boring meal taste a lot better. Sometimes, I use onion powder in things too--if you aren't familiar with onion powder, it is simply dehydrated onions that have been basically pulverized in to a powder. Glad you found a good bargain. They are getting harder and harder to fine here, too.

Hello! How are you doing? I’m praying for you. Thanks for stopping by. By the way, I love onions because they have health benefits. And yes, I’m familiar with onion powder, and they sell it here. I’m just not sure how much it costs. Hehe

@freelancermariagrace Onions just add a lot of flavor to so many foods. I usually plant some in my garden. We are OK. We really appreciate prayers, thanks so, so much.

Well done, sounds like you got a very good deal. Onions last for ages so they won’t go off before you use them.

We do always rather than buying to the market we directly bought to the farmers we know because it's more cheaper the price.

Yes, that’s a great idea. You can help them by directly buying from them. Hehe

I wanted to buy some onions on my last grocery run, but decided to skip them. Much to my detriment, I believe! I’m glad to hear you got a good deal though.

Great that you got that deal. I am on a lookout for good deals all the time to save some money. Life is getting expensive and it might get worse with the fuel prices rising.
