Why are you here? Why are you still here? Or why are you back in mylot?
Old friends of mine know that no matter how long I'm gone, I will always go back to mylot. The people, the fun of engaging with friends...it's something that I miss when I'm gone for quite awhile.
The money? It's nothing or just didn't matter much to me.
There are users though who are solely here for money, especially now that life is tough. I see familiar names who used to be here. WAs fairly new. Didn't stay long coz mylot wasn't paying as much as the sites they were working on. But now they are back.
They are back coz really life in this country is very difficult. So every dollar counts.
We are the first country to declare a state of emergency because of the nonstop rising cost of fuel.

I have been on this site for so long I just would miss it too much if I didn't continue. I've made friends, and it's a part of the things I do each day. It's become a habit. One of my better ones I might add.

When I’m not here, I feel like I miss out on a lot. This place has been a haven for me where I can write stories, share my rants, and express anything on my mind. I’ve also realized that I become less updated on world news when I’m not here. I can connect and be friends with people even without meeting them in person, and there’s no judgment.

That's why I tell new people here that mylot is not social media but a discussion site. They couldn't tell the difference. Before Facebook, twitter, and the likes, there was already mylot.

@Ineeddentures It was a totally different Facebook coz I was on it. And there only a few users in Facebook back then. No messaging, we cannot post photos. I remember there were icons we send to each other. I only had a few friends and all of them were Americans only. We sent each other flowers through posting. And that was just it.

I read the news first thing this morning and saw that your country is the first to declare a state of emergency.
I have returned because of a phone call from my myLot friend. I’m certainly not here for the money, but I add it to our favorite charities. I enjoy being here to interact with friends and have some good laughs.

I was going to say I think the cost of living crisis has resulted in a few more people being here and other people posting more discussions as they try to scrape a few pennies together to help with daily costs
I would think very few would admit that they are here solely for the money
Anyone looking to supplement income in decent amounts is not going to stay here if they find better earning opportunities online.
A State of Emergency, that's awful when thos had nothing to do with your country at all.
Petrol here has risen by 20% since the start of this stupid Trump and his ego war.

And can you believe that even with the stupidity of Trump, there are Filipinos who support him and even defend him!
I cannot understand what kind of mindset they have when their countrymen are already suffering a lot. The price of fuel is approaching PHp150/liter. .

And some are on here but they have been strangely quiet on Satan's activities and illegal war which is pushing prices up everywhere.

I remember when Mylot quit paying for two years and a heck of a lot of people left. Not all came back, which is a shame. A few recently left and told me it was because they couldn’t make as much here as they used to. I’m here because I can earn AND I like the people. Even during those non paying two years I kept in touch with some Mylotters via email and Facebook. But I’ll be real that if they quit paying again, I wouldn’t check in as often.

I was here once in awhile during those two years that mylot wasn't paying. The only reason I couldn't stay was because nobody was here to talk to. Remember in the old mylot, interaction is a must. But how could I, when nobody was here. It was such a shame.
I think I was in Bangkok when someone, which I think was ladyD told me mylot was active again. So I came back as well. It's a shame that a lot of people didn't. Especially those from my country. Only a number of us did.
