Helping the Neighbor

The neighbor directly across the street from me is an 83 year old widow with a pacemaker and cancer. The cancer is spread everywhere now so they're not doing any treatments to kill the cancer, just infusions to keep her alive.
She saw me outside in the driveway getting some sun a couple of hours ago and asked me to come help her, which I did. She needed me to put eye drops in her eyes, two drops spaced 10 minutes apart, which I did.
I like being helpful to the neighbors.

That poor woman I am glad you could help her, I mean I am all alone totally but I have no health concerns so I will be adding some additional thank yous to the Lord tonight.

I recall a Chinese saying "a good neighbor is better than a distant relative".
We too have an elderly lady living all by herself.
As we divide time between our homes, she gets upset every time we leave for a few months.
It is not an easy time at all.
It is nice of you to help out someone in need.
