Looking into bids

I am checking on getting the windshield fixed in the van. It started out with a small chip this winter, but now the crack goes clear across the whole front glass. The one bid I have is under $500. I would have to take it in to them, though. Another company wants the VIN in order to give a bid. I went out and got the number and will go back online for that. Meanwhile there is supper to prepare. Chicken and veggies and yogurt with berries. I am pretty ready for that.

Have you tried Safelite? They come to the house. I used them last year.

I guess replacing a van windshield is quite a bit more expensive than replacing a car windshield.

Windscreens aren't cheap. I think our insurance covers windscreens.
