They Are Back.

My frenemies. Those little fire ants. I noticed them getting on my kitchen counter the past days or sometimes in the wall unexpectedly. Since it is summer here, I'm sure they are looking for food to store. But they bite and it stings and itchy. I try to keep my kitchen clean. But I found out last time that they made their way inside one pack of cookies. They were able to make holes on the packaging. I'm spraying my kitchen with vinegar and water mixture. Those little frenemies of mine are forcing to clean the whole house. Any advice?

I hate ants, they get in here too. As a matter of fact, I just ordered some ant bait. I pray that will work. I really need to do a better job cleaning up in here.

@rakski They don't like vinegar, and it confuses them..going back to their nests or trails.

It is good to know I am not the only one that feel that way. I am now cleaning as well, and I'd better make good too

Every spring, when the rains mostly stop, Pretty goes out and sprays the back of our house with ant spray. We usually don't see them again until the next spring.

There might be a product you could put around the exterior of the house that would keep them away. I guess ant baits would work too.
