Saved money yesterday

I bought a big container of Ricotta yesterday.
My mom was in the store with me and asked me why I’m getting a big container instead of a small one.
Well, the big one was on sale for $3.99.
The small one was somewhere in the $5 range.
I spend less money and get more ricotta.
Why wouldn’t I take advantage of that?
The label says to consume in 3-5 days.
I hope I’ll be able to finish it all before it goes bad.
Have you ever bought something in a bigger quantity even though you didn’t really need that much because it was cheaper?

@Ineeddentures I hate it when a store says for example 2 for $4 but you must buy 2.

I often get larger containers because I order groceries once a month and so stuff I get lasts longer,

@lovebuglena I order groceries once a month, so a lot of stuff I get in big sizes to last me all month. I order again next Saturday for all of April but you know maybe this alone time is starting to get to me, Lately nothing tastes like anything so I guees I will order more ice cream than other things,

@RasmaSandra Do you use instacart or the like? Or do you order directly from a website?

Once a month? How long does it last you?

If it’s a perishable item I may not get it in bulk if I know I won’t be able to finish it before it goes bad.

I usually purchase a larger plastic bottle of a generic soft drink than a national brand of soft drinks at a supermarket.

Sometimes generic brands are good.

I hate wasting food. Hopefully the ricotta won’t go to waste.

The brand I got has no bad stuff in it, which I like.
