Contacting principal of an old school and being snubbed, i feel

This is the school where i enjoyed working. I saw a job ad a month ago, sent an email with documents to an official email address and nothing, which made me really disappointed. They published a job ad yesterday and i remembered i had a number from a female principal and i sent her a whatsapp message, which i regretted not doing it the first time. I also sent 2 documents, my cv and where i worked before, as a proof i worked in her school before. She saw the message yesterday but didn't reply it. She replied it now, that i can express my interest via email and that's it. I feel it was said shortly and very formal, like she's meeting me for the first time. I feel she's not interested and why should i send another email, if i wasn't called the first time, after my first email in february. She is the one that calls people for work. For a job that is barely a month long, some people are all kinds. Also, i didn't like working in one school but they called me to work again so, i don't understand the deal this principal is doing. Isn't in their interest to hire people who worked at their school before. I've heard that is how things work for majority and this is a month long job again. Also, i perhaps acted in rush but i answered i expressed my interest even on February 24 and she can check the inbox. Short answer from me too. I am glad i saved my February mail. So, that's it for me. If you need workers, hire them. If not, stop playing with them and being rude. I'm too tired for sucking always up to people actually, employers.

Do you think they want you to work there again ? Maybe you should concentrate your efforts elsewhere

can you ask them, my fortune cookie teller? it hurts me when someone, where i worked before, doesn't hire me again or acts like this. it could be a win-win situation but i'm not begging and i'm glad i answered her the same way she answered me. like that scene from gladiator; roman victory

@valherma00 Wouldn't it be best just to move on to somewhere else and put it behind you

Her response does sound a bit rude and I guess you have to decide if you really want to work there again.

thank you for noticing the same; she could have said something more, besides this and especially when i added a proof i worked there. i don't have a job and when i get it, it's only for a month but i have to take it, i don't have a choice. she was also a little bit rude when i met her last year, when she interviewed me and asked me between lines do i have children, which i didn't like but i thought she was fair overall. i guess first impression is sometimes right and if she doesn't contact me, i'm not applying there ever again, it's over.

@valherma00 she does seem like a person that wouldn't be easy to work for. I hope you find something better

I know it's not always easy to find work. It's hard. Hopefully you hear good news, whether from this school or another.

thank you. maybe i was sassy for answering her like this but she was rude as well; i mean, i am aware that we are numbers to some people but, i worked there for almost a month and it wasn't only in my head. she was also rude the first time i met her, asking me between lines do i have children, wich turned me off but i thought that overall she was fair and i needed a job. thank you; i've sent many applications so, i would really like for a positive response from some school and my wish is somewhere close to my apartment cause, travelling for too long makes me tired.

i feel the same and thank you for your support. i remember she wasn't that kind when i met her for the first time; she asked me do i have children but between lines, which i didn't like her asking me and she also asked me that she hopes i taught kids recently, which i didn't understand why it's so important. i shoke everything from that day and thought of her as fair person if not polite but, yeah, it's up to her and her school management. i've done everything in my power and if i sounded rude, i don't want to bother anymore cause, they are rude too.
