Today is Easter Sunday ..... Happy Easter to all my Mylot friends and family. We haven't done Easter eggs this year but we exchanged big bars of chocolate instead. Eggs are so expensive for what you get and we enjoy the chocolate bars as much if not more .... We have a rum and raisin flavour chocolate bar which you can't get in egg form. How are you celebrating Easter ....if you are .....? Do you have ) exchange eggs ?

I enjoy doing eggs when kids are around. No kids here right now. I'm just heading to a friend's house for dinner.

Happy Easter!! Chocolate is a great substitute!! We are just chilling at home today. Our kids are all grown and they are doing their own thing(s) today with their kids. We have never exchanged eggs, just candy!

Happy Easter! Pretty and I will go tomorrow when all the chocolate Easter stuff is dropped to half-price and buy some. (That's what we do every holiday that has candy as part of the celebration. Half-priced candy has the best flavor! )

I do the same ....our shops this year will have loads left. There is a big thing here at the moment about palm oil and people are encouraged not to buy products that have palm oil as an ingredient. It is in most chocolate and therefore most Easter eggs.

@Traceyjayne That's probably a good thing. You'd think companies who used those products would realize common people won't like it and will start avoiding things made with products like that.

We didn't buy chocolate this year but it's always more economical to buy bars rather than eggs.
