Chinese for tea tonight .....everywhere else was closed !

So, this afternoon The Mister and I had a bit of a nap ...when we woke we finished washing the caravan ....oh it's so clean and shiny now ....then we decided it was time for food.
Well, it comes down to the fact that it's Sunday .. and Easter Sunday . And it was after 8pm....
Most places were closed ....
What were we to do ....
We found a Chinese takeaway that we have used before that was open and we chose egg fried rice, chicken chow mein, and special satay.
Free prawn crackers too ...
What did you have to eat today ?

@traceyjayne I roasted half a leg of lamb slathered in a rosemary, garlic and anchovy paste.

@Traceyjayne The anchovies can be rinsed in milk beforehand if required but I don’t find them too salty.

Never heard of anchovy paste on lamb ....doesn't it make it salty ?
I do love lamb though .

We made a large Easter breakfast, and there was so much food that we thought it would hold us over throughout the entire day, but around 8pm we all realized we were hungry again. And like your situation, everything here was closed due to it being Easter. However, we did find a Chinese restaurant that was open and so we got some food from there.

@Traceyjayne I had black pepper chicken, my girlfriend had General Tso's Chicken, and my daughter had kung pao chicken. We also had fried rice, lo mein, egg foo young, and egg rolls. How about you? What did you have?

i'm glad that someone was still opened
. i had boiled ham with boiled eggs and a spring onion for lunch. for dinner, i had a milk product on my bread cause, my tummy felt aching due to so much ham yesterday

You must surely enjoy that as you have it often ....
You just reminded me that I have forgotten to bring my tin of pineapple ....it's in the fridge at home ....oh well, it's not open so it won't go off !
