Kitchen Chaos.

My kitchen looks like a tornado hit it. Pots and pans everywhere, containers scattered on the counter, and I can barely find space to put things. I’m busy preparing food for my daughter to take with her to the dorm while also trying to get breakfast ready at the same time.
It’s one of those mornings where everything feels rushed, but I don’t really mind it. There is something comforting about cooking for my family, for my daughter, making sure she has something homemade to eat even when she is away.
I keep checking if I packed enough, maybe one more container, maybe a little extra rice, just in case.
At the same time, I’m flipping eggs, watching the pan, and reminding myself not to burn anything. Multitasking at its finest!
It’s a bit chaotic, yes, but it is also filled with love.
I'm sure soon, the kitchen will be quiet again, clean and back to normal. But for now, I’ll embrace this mess, the rush, and the little moments like this, because these are the things I’ll probably miss someday.

It does feel good to have kids depending on you and knowing you can do just a little bit more for them. And yes, you will miss it one day.

It's good that you can enjoy this for what it is. There will be plenty of time to clean and reorganise once your daughter has left.
