The Bermuda Cahow is the world's most endangered bird species. A recovery program has worked wonders and from the 17 or 18 breeding pairs in 1960 grew 55 by 2001. Read about this astonishing bird's comeback:

@celticeagle I hope so. I think people are more aware now of the importance of preventing extinction. Well, some of them.

I think that's wonderful. I hope we can preserve the mighty elephants. They are being slaughtered for their ivory.
